I didn’t build this business in perfect conditions. I built it in chaos, motherhood, late nights, and love. Welcome.

Hi Friends

new old and everyone in between!

I wanted to introduce myself and share a little bit of the heart behind The Southern Coven. Whether you have been here from the start or you are just finding your way here, thank you. I am so glad you are here.

I am Keri. Wife, mom of two wild and wonderful boys, and the hands behind this space. Life is loud, messy, creative, and constantly evolving, and this business has grown right alongside it.

This space is more than a business to me. It is a reflection of who I am, what I love, and the community that has grown with me along the way.

My Sons, My Meteors, and All My Stars...

  • Aaron

Aaron is Autistic and has ADHD. He is brilliant, funny, deeply himself, and always keeps life interesting. He reminds me every day that the world does not need one way of thinking to be beautiful.

  • Austin

Austin is deaf in both ears to low frequency sounds and has been medically complex since birth. He is strong, steady, and so full of light, and his journey has shaped my heart in more ways than words can hold.

The House That Built Me...

  • Night Owl

I’ve always been a moon and stars girl. Astrology and little rituals have always been part of me. The witching hour is when I get the most done. It’s quiet, no one needs anything from me, and focus comes easy.

  • Inclusivity

I proudly support BIPOC, women, the LGBTQIA+ community, disabled and neurodivergent folks, and human rights. This space is rooted in kindness, authenticity, and creating something where people feel safe and celebrated. Always.

  • Military Family

I grew up in a military family and later joined the Air Force myself. My dad served in the Army, and I enlisted as he medically retired.

I’ve been serving since 2016. This summer, I’m moving into a new chapter. It’s a big shift, but it feels right for the life I’m building.

  • Spoonie

I’m also a spoonie living with invisible and neurodivergent disabilities, including fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and ADHD.

Some days are hard. Some days are easy. Either way, I’m still here, building this business from the ground up. It’s not always pretty, but it’s real.

Small Shop Obsessed

No seriously, someone cut up my cards please

I absolutely love the small shop community. I have learned so much from everyone I've met. I've laughed, cried, failed, and grown all with amazing people I now get to call friends.

I also have friends that own the literal best shops, shameless plug, let me introduce them:

  • The Pressed Siren; cup, scrunchie, tee
  • The GingerThread House; Tee & SoCo; Twisted Headwrap
  • Ollie's Closet; Tank & Bummies
  • Stitches On Main; Evil Eye Bryce
  • Witch Me Not; Ouija Board Sweater
  • Little Turkey Fashions; Flamingo Bryce Peplum
  • A Touch Of Handmade Magic; Bat love tee
  • Wildflower Stitches; Carissa Peplum
  • The Illuminated Ink Digitals; my logo & most of my featured files & exclusives
  • Kinley & Mae Custom Fabrics; ALL my fabric needs
  • Cobalt Coffin; my website

& Lastly... Thank You!

Thank you for being part of this handmade, moonlit, spoonie-powered journey.

This business is built by hand, through long days, hard seasons, and a whole lot of love for what I do.

Through every season, every challenge, every small moment of magic, this space continues to grow because of you.

With love, resilience, and a little stardust,
Keri
